Was gonna mention Celefain Vein -are they any good would love to hear some stuff by these bands. On the subject of Aussie bands loved The Screaming Jets -saw em a couple of times over here in the Uk.

Only one UK date this time? Bum. Seen them the last two UK tours they did, absolutely amazing. Angry's still terrifying after all these years.

Don't know any Aussie glam bands, but Australia did produce the mindfuckingly brilliant Radio Birdman. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Yes... I love Celafain Vain.
Well, for those of you that like Celafain Vain, check out sebasrockets cos 2 of the CF member are now in Sebasrockets. Whereas I would describe Celafain Vain as Star*Star meets Big Bang Babies, Sebasrockets have a bit more of a punky edge to them. If anyone is interested in getting their album i could probably help you out there as I kinda know a couple of the guys.

Yeah, Voodoo Lovecats are classics. I don;t spose you've got their 2 early demo EPs transferred to CD? I have the original demos on cassette but would love them on cdr if anyone has them.

Also, The Deadthings was formed by (I think it was) 2 former members of the lovecats. Anyway, there is still 1 member of lovecats in deadthings so it's probably worth checking them out if you liked lovecats.

I'm know these guys pretty well so if you're after their EP, let me know and I can probably hook ya up. PM me if you're interested.

One of my ALL time fave Australian bands were Voodoo Lovecats. Especially their early demos `Punk N Disorderly` and `Desperate And Dateless` (I think those were the titles). Australia's answer to Glamour Punks and Queeny Blast Pop back then.

Candy Harlots are no longer active, although some of the band member still play in different bands. Check out JERK (heavy rock), and Mark Easton Limosuine (blues) to see what some of the former members are doing now.

ALREADY I KNEW D.A.D WASN'T FROM AUSTRALIA, I JUST MENTIONED 'EM CUZ IT WAS THE 1ST BAND WHICH I FOUND SIMILARITIES WITH, WHEN I LISTENED HELL CITY GLAMOURS!!!
